Application guide of triazole fungicides

Apr 02, 2020

Triazoles are widely used in fruits and vegetables, such as white powder, spotted leaf disease, brown spot disease, and black spot disease. Triazole fungicides have the effect of inhibiting crop growth and transforming vegetative growth into reproductive growth. Such drugs are generally used at standard concentrations. Excessive concentration may inhibit growth, so it is best not to use it at flowering and young fruiting periods. If used, don't stick to flowers and young fruits. Propiconazole and flusilazole inhibit the growth most obviously, tebuconazole is in the middle, difenoconazole and hexaconazole are relatively safe.

Propiconazole

It can be absorbed by roots, stems and leaves, and can be quickly transmitted upwards in the plant body to prevent and cure diseases caused by ascomycetes, basidiomycetes and semi-perceived bacteria, especially for wheat total erosion, powdery mildew, rust, Rot disease, rice bacillus and banana leaf spot have better control effects.

Tebuconazole

It not only has a similar action mode as triazole, but also develops a second mechanism to inhibit the occurrence of resistance. It is also mixed with other systemic or non-systemic fungicides to effectively control cereals and seed-borne diseases. It is mainly used for nearly 30 kinds of diseases of Chinese cabbage, strawberry, soybean, highlight, province, cucumber, bitter gourd, pear, apple grape, rice rubber, wheat, corn and other crops. The main dosage forms are seed treatment suspension seed coating agent, dry seed dressing agent, wet seed dressing agent, water-dispersible granules, water emulsion, microemulsion, suspension agent and so on.

Hexaconazole

The drug has a broad bacteriostatic spectrum, and has broad-spectrum protection and eradication of diseases caused by fungi (especially basidiomycetes and ascomycetes), and its use is lower than other triazole fungicides. The registered crops are cucumber, wheat, rice, pear tree, apple tree, peach tree, etc., mainly due to the prevention and control of powdery mildew, black spot, sheath blight, brown spot, rust and so on. The main dosage forms used are emulsifiable concentrate, water-dispersible granules, microemulsions and suspensions.

Difenoconazole

Difenoconazole is a relatively safe triazole fungicide. It is widely used in crops such as fruit trees and vegetables to effectively prevent black spot disease, black pox, white rot, spotted leaf disease, powdery mildew, and brown spots. Disease, rust, stripe rust, scab etc.

Myclobutanil

It is a high-efficiency, broad-spectrum, systemic, low-toxic triazole fungicide with protective and therapeutic effects. It is used to prevent and cure diseases of ascomycetes, semi-known fungi and basidiomycetes of various crops, and is used to control powdery mildew and black spot disease on cucumber, pear, apple, grape, banana, and wheat.

The main registered dosage forms are wettable powders, emulsifiable concentrates, water-dispersible granules, water emulsions, microemulsions, suspensions, etc. Seed treatment can prevent multiple species and soil-borne diseases of crops such as wheat, barley, corn, cotton and rice. It can also be used for prevention and cure of storage diseases.

It is best not to use tebuconazole and Hexaconazole after the first two times of flowering, because poor control of the concentration will make the apple stalk short and affect fruit swelling. Difenoconazole is relatively safe, and it can work on white powder and black stars.

All three of these medicines can be used for the last pass before bagging. After deep sterilization of the young fruit, bagging. Propiconazole should not be used in northern orchards as much as possible, and its safety is relatively poor.

Apples are added with at least one azole drug to prevent powdery, spotted leaves, brown spots and other diseases within one month after flowering, that is, three times before bagging, usually at the recommended concentration, for example 43 % Tebuconazole is generally used more than 5000 times, and 10% difenoconazole is used more than 5000 times, which is relatively safe.
